Waterpfoof connector SZC28-F-M

Sealed connectors IP68 SZC28(another name is SP28, SD28) – round manual quick connection connectors, internal volumetric installation. The following series are available among hermetic connectors with IP68 degree of protection: SZC.

Sealed connectors are designed for connecting circuits with a load 5A , 10A, 15A, 25A, 30A, 45A, 52A voltage up to 380 V alternating current.

Sealed connectors of the indicated series range from 2 to 24 contacts and are supplied complete plug.

Among the presented series, waterproof connectors are divided into several subtypes: sealed, sealed power and sealed connectors with a terminal block. The connectors also differ in the way they are mounted on the cable, which is suitable for various technological processes: soldering, screw connection or screw connection via the terminal block.

The connectors are waterproof and are divided according to degree of protection:

• IP67 – indicates that the connectors can be briefly immersed in water to a depth of 1 m, no more than 30 minutes;
• IP68 – allows long-term immersion to a depth of more than 1 m and more than 30 minutes.

Sealed connectors are widely used in industry and transport, with IP68 protection, ideal for outdoor installation: street lighting, video surveillance, electronic signage, car charging stations, data centers, air conditioning systems, lighting systems alarms, shipbuilding, etc.. They are necessary where water resistance, speed and ease of switching electrical wires are important.
