IP68 sealed connectors – connectors manual quick connection round, internal volumetric installation. Among the sealed connectors with a degree of protection IP68 are the following series: SZC.

Sealed connectors are designed for connecting circuits with loads 5A, 10A, 15A, 25A, 30A, 45A, 52A voltage up to 380 V AC.

Sealed connectors of the indicated series range from 2 to 24 contacts and supplied included male.

Among the presented series, waterproof connectors are divided into several subtypes: sealed, sealed power and sealed connectors with a terminal block. The connectors also differ in the way they are mounted on the cable, which is suitable for various technological processes: soldering, screw connection or screw connection via the terminal block.

The connectors are waterproof and divided according to degrees of protection:

• IP67 – indicates that the connectors can be briefly immersed in water to a depth of 1 m, no more than 30 minutes;
• IP68 – allows long-term immersion to a depth of more than 1 m and more than 30 minutes.

Sealed connectors are widely used in industry and transport, with IP68 protection, ideal for outdoor installation: street lighting, video surveillance, electronic signage, car charging stations, data centers, air conditioning systems, lighting systems alarms, shipbuilding, etc.. They are necessary where water resistance, speed and ease of switching electrical wires are important.
