IP68 Waterproof connectors – manual quick connection connectors, round, for internal volumetric installation. The following series are available among sealed connectors with IP68 degree of protection: SZC (SD, SP, LD).
Sealed connectors are designed for connecting circuits with a load of 5A, 10A, 15A, 25A, 30A, 45A, 52Avoltage up to 380 V alternating current.
Sealed connectors of the indicated series range from 2 to 24 contacts and are supplied in a plug-socket kit.
Among the presented series, waterproof connectors are divided into several subtypes: sealed, sealed power and sealed connectors with terminal block. The connectors also differ in the way they are mounted on the cable, which is suitable for various technological processes: soldering, screw connection or screw connection via a terminal block.
The connectors are waterproof and are divided by degree of protection:
IP67 – indicates that connectors can be briefly immersed in water to a depth of 1 m, no more than 30 minutes;
IP68 – allows long-term immersion to a depth of more than 1 m and more than 30 minutes.
Sealed connectors are widely used in industry and transport, having a degree IP68 protections are excellent for outdoor installations: street lighting, video surveillance, electronic signage, car charging stations, data centers, air conditioning systems, light signaling systems, shipbuilding, etc.. They are needed where waterproofness, speed and ease of switching electrical wires are important.
